The goal is to cover an entire wall with my collection of Confusion pieces. It just made sense to me as a tattoo artist to create something for anyone wondering into my studio who had no idea what kind of tattoo to get. They could pick and chooose random pieces from each drawing which could then be blended together to create something which would be completely original.
The smaller ones took about a fortnight each; a little bit here and there. An easy enough challenge. But the A3 one took a long time. It came so fustrating. I couldn't get anything done bcause what I had already created was so distracting; you couldn't help but stare at for a
Whilst in college I never took art that seriously. Any work I did I would be taken home and pinned on the wall rather than submitted.
But college did introduce me to a few new tools, like gouache paint. Epic stuff. If you haven't used it before, try it out.
